Way back in January (how is it already March?) I participated in the Sweet Pouch Swap again, this round being hosted by Sew Delicious. It was fantastic, as usual! I was very excited that this one was an international swap no matter what! I love sending things around the world, and receiving things is just as fun!
I had a great partner named Nat this time round. She just started her new blog not too long ago! Sew Outnumbered. According to her info for the swap, she loves teal, green, and grey together. I was lucky enough to have almost all the fabrics I used on her bag already in my stash because I had intended on making myself something with them! We both have good taste!
I attempted to make a neat felt feather zipper pull.
I stuffed it with yummy Malley's Chocolates and some tea light candles from Root Candle in Medina, OH.
Wrapped and ready to ship to Perth, Western Australia.
I received an AWESOME little pouch that I'm using for chap-sticks and pens currently in my purse. I love the IKEA fabric, I've never found any with such a small print.
Nat was fantastic in that she sent me licorice!! I absolutely LOVE Australian licorice!! And this did not disappoint!
And Tim Tams!!!
And fun fabric with Australian wildlife on it.
THANK YOU, Nat! I love my pouch and sweets!
I love Australia and I'd love to visit someday!
